The
1st delegation (17 guests) from Tulancingo led by Mayor Eric Saucedo
visited Pleasanton, where the delegates were Grand Marshals of
the Heritage Days Parade. A number of other activities were held
including a tree dedication at the Century House and a performance
by the Amador High School band.

18 -23, 1985 (2nd)

visitors from Tulancingo. They were once again Grand Marshals
of the Heritage Days Parade and toured the Old State Capitol in
Sacramento. There was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Mexico City
during this trip, but Tulancingo was spared significant damate.

2 -6, 1986 (3rd)
A
goodwill delegation of 33 members visited Pleasanton. They enjoyed
visiting Wente winery, LLNL and the Pleasanton Transfer Station
(the dump), as well as many other events planned on their behalf.
September
30 - October 5, 1987 (4th)
A
delegation of 35 came to Pleasanton. This visit included a trip
to Carmel, various sports parks and a fire station.

14 - 19, 1988 (5th)
This
delegation of 37 goodwill ambassadors was the first to travel
on BART and visit Sausalito. They enjoyed many other activities
including an A's game and a visit to the ATT complex.

13 - 18, 1989 (6th)

delegates enjoyed a visit to Old Town Sacramento and the Railroad
Museum as well as many additional activities in Pleasanton.

12 - 17, 1990 (7th)
A
delegation of 30 members visited Pleasanton. Highlights for this
group included a trip to Ghirardelli Square and Ft. Mason in San
Francisco.

18 - 23, 1991 (8th)
A
goodwill delegation of 33 members visited Pleasanton. The Pleasanton
Cultural Arts put on a "Celebracion del los Ninos" which
showcased children.
